The Debut Collection
The Debut Collection is three watches, made and released as one set. Not a flagship with variants to follow, and not a quiet launch to test the water. Buena Vista, Springtide, and Voyager were drawn one after another and shipped together, in one shared neo-vintage design language. It is our first collection, and we built it whole. A debut, not a launch.
Three Calibers, One Bench
The three share a bench in Timisoara. Each runs a different Sellita movement: the SW200-1, the SW280-1, and the SW510 BH b. Every dial is pad printed (tampografie) in house, and the three watches are built at the same bench. What sets the watches apart is intent. One is a dress watch, one carries a moonphase, and one is a chronograph. Each was drawn for a specific idea rather than a spec sheet, then held to the same standard of finish. The workshop is small, and the same hands touch all three.
Buena Vista
Buena Vista follows the spirit of vintage dress watches, and a warm, vintage Cuban way of life. The case is gold-plated 316L stainless steel, 38 mm, with a brushed finish. The dial is sunray champagne, hand-corrected at the 12 indices. Inside is the Sellita SW200-1 automatic, with a modified rotor and bridges. It reads time and date, is water resistant to 100 m, and comes on premium Italian Saffiano leather with a quick-release fitting.
Springtide
Springtide takes its name from the interplay of the moon and earth that creates the tides. A spring tide is the strongest tide, at new and full moon, which is why the watch carries a moonphase. The movement is the Sellita SW280-1 automatic. It shows time, date, and moonphase, and is water resistant to 100 m.
Voyager
Voyager is an homage to the Voyager 1 space probe that left the solar system. It is a bicompax chronograph, and the two small dials reference the two lowest energy states of the hydrogen atom, the hydrogen line drawing carried on the mission's Golden Record cover. That cover design is engraved on the caseback. The movement is the Sellita SW510 BH b chronograph. It reads time and runs a chronograph, with no date, and is water resistant to 30 m.
Worn the Same Way
For all their differences, the three are worn the same way. Each wears a butterfly deployant clasp with push-buttons, on a quick-release leather strap. Straps are offered in S, M, L, and XL, from 110/70 mm to 125/85 mm, so the fit follows the wrist rather than the other way around. Strap size does not change the price. Medium is the default size, measured for a case with 35 mm between the spring bars.
One Collection, Launched Together
Releasing three watches at once is a statement of method. The priority is the product, not rapid growth, and our markup is capped below three times production cost. Mimora was founded in Timisoara in 2025, and the Debut Collection is where our approach begins, not where it ends. Three calibers, one bench: a record of how we work, and a starting point for what follows.
